Business and Pleasure

I found this ratty old house just South of our project in Malad, ID. It's the perfect kind of subject for HDR: lots of fine detail, large tonal ranges, and tons of color.

The Pepsi bottles are sitting exactly like I found them. In fact, it looked like sharp edges from the broken tops had been dulled by time.

I've take some heat on this one because of the bright highlights behind the bottle tops. Is it too distracting or does it pull the eye to the subject?

Comments appreciated.

Only in my dreams could I create HDRs as well as you.

This is perfect, like something from a dream.

Hi Linc,
I squinted my eyes and I prefer the bright, white lights as the focal point. You have serious, true talent! Your obsession too is proof of that... :) I LOVE ALL OF YOUR PHOTOS but your HDR's are WICKED...
